The Frankenstein Game

Frankenstein is a writer’s game wherein a story is composed of sentences contributed by different authors. We play this game a lot in Book Junkies, and everyone has a lot of fun with it.

So, I’ll kick it off with a prompt sentence, then you guys each add a sentence in the comment thread. Each subsequent sentence should feed off the sentence before it in the thread. So, let’s see what monster of a story we can stitch together.

One note though: PG-13 type blog, so watch the potty-mouth.

Prompt sentence:

Miranda watched from her window as the two men across the street broke into her neighbor’s car.

  1. Curtains twitched out of curiosity when the car alarm went off, but as usual, no one took any notice, apart from a black cat sitting on the wall watching the proceedings; if anyone had taken a closer look, they would have seen a tiny blue light flashing in the bell on his collar……

  2. 'Ugh, egg salad,' he turned his head from the aroma with disgust, 'maybe it's in the trunk, sounds like we don't have much time…'

  3. "That's not allergies, you idiot," the other thief responded, thinking that the stun has caused his partner a brain malfunction, "that was some kind of jolt…like from a ray gun or something!"
