PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY:
For this category, we are looking for the sites that provide informational content and other resources that assist writers in honing their craft, developing writing skills, and improving writers’ marketing and business acumen. Sites nominated in this category should be those deep in expertise and broad in subject matter. CLARIFICATION: The majority of the site’s content must be accessible to the general public.
In thinking about which sites to nominate, we suggest you consider such factors as frequency & utility of posts, relevance of content, level of engagement, and administrative responsiveness.
The staff of Indies Unlimited who own, manage, or administer other websites, are eligible for nomination, provided those sites meet the category criteria.
Nominations will remain open until 5 PM US Pacific Time on January 31, 2015. Comments will be closed at that time and no further nominations will be accepted.
The 10 sites in each category that receive the most nominations by the time the nomination phase has closed will be deemed the finalists in the category, pending verification by Indies Unlimited administration. Voting to determine the winner for each category will commence at 9 AM US Pacific Time on February 6, 2015.
Use the comment section below to make your nominations.
Nominate as many sites as you like, but nominate each site only once. Make sure you let your nominees know!
Your nomination must include:
- The name of the site;
- A link to the site; and,
- One sentence explaining why you feel the site is worthy of being named Best Writers’ Resource Site of 2014.
Nominations that do not include all three elements described directly above will be eliminated by the administrators. Do not place anything in the comment field other than the specified nomination information. Extraneous comments will be removed. If you nominate your own site, the entry will be removed. If you have a question or concern regarding the process, please use the contact form.
