carte blanche logocarte blanche, the literary journal of the Quebec Writers’ Federation, is currently accepting submissions of short fiction, creative nonfiction, memoir, personal essay, literary journalism, and more. They consider previously unpublished works up to 3500 words using narrative: a story that moves from some kind of a beginning to some kind of an end, are preferred.

Prizes: a modest honorarium and publication

Deadline: Submissions are open September 1, 2015 – January 1, 2016
