The Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest, sponsored by the folks at Winning Writers, is now in its fourteenth year. The contest is seeks the best in original humor poems. Published and unpublished poems of any length are welcome. One poem per person, please.

GreenPrints Magazine is looking for personal gardening stories: expressive, thoughtful, humorous, angry, contrite, flippant, searching, witty, observant, sad, inviting, etc. They focus on the human, not how-to side of gardening. Stories should be no more than 2000 words.
Southern Pacific Review seeks short fiction written in (or translated into) English . Word count is flexible, but flash and novelette length works will have to try harder. Interesting ideas and depth of meaning are more important than genre.
The Binnacle will sponsor its Eighth International Ultra-Short Competition in the 2014-2015 academic year. They are looking for prose works of 150 words or fewer and poetry of sixteen lines or fewer and fewer than 150 words. A minimum of $300 in cash prizes will be awarded, with a minimum prize of $50. At least one of the prizes will go to a UMM student.
