IUEA Nominations: Best Watchdog Site

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY:

For this category, we are looking for the sites that provide assessments, warnings, and advisories related to various elements of the publishing industry. These sites are the ones writers rely upon to avoid falling prey to scam artists and unethical publishers, agents, publicists, etc.

In thinking about which sites to nominate, we suggest you consider such factors as ease of researching information on the sites, extent & type of information provided, reliability of information, and responsiveness of administration.

The staff of Indies Unlimited who own, manage, or administer other websites, are eligible for nomination, provided those sites meet the category criteria.

Nominations will remain open until 5 PM US Pacific Time on January 31st, 2014. Comments will be closed at that time and no further nominations will be accepted.

The 10 sites in each category that receive the most nominations by the time the nomination phase has closed will be deemed the finalists in the category, pending verification by Indies Unlimited administration. Voting to determine the winner for each category will commence at 5 AM US Pacific Time on February 7, 2014.

Use the comment section below to make your nominations.

Nominate as many sites as you like, but nominate each site only once. Make sure you let your nominees know!

  2. A link to the site; and,
  3. One sentence explaining why you feel the site is worthy of being named Best Writers’ Resource Site of 2013.

Nominations that do not include all three elements described above will be eliminated by the administrators. Do not place anything in the comment field other than the specified nomination information. Extraneous comments will be removed.
