Indie Authors Help Kids with Cancer

Danielle and Matthew Drake are Indie Authors with a cause – helping cheer up kids with cancer.  They’ve started Kourageous Kids Storybooks – short stories written especially for young cancer patients.

Each story will be unique, and will feature the child as the hero.  This service is free to the families, and the Drakes are hoping to get their word out so more families may find them. After learning a little about the patient, the Drakes will craft the short story based on the child’s tastes. The finished product will be delivered to the patient.  Eventually, the Drakes are hoping to compile the stories into an anthology for publication. Proceeds from the sales will be donated to Stand Up to Cancer and the National Children’s Cancer Society.

You can learn more about Kourageous Kids Storybooks on their website, or on their Facebook page.[subscribe2]

Running a Goodreads book giveaway was an easy, enjoyable, maintenence-free experience.

Having run two Goodreads giveaways for The Stone Dragon, what are the immediate results?
