I don’t know about anyone else, but I find 140 characters for a book description challenging. Do people have tips for how to reduce a book to 140 characters without making it sound dull? 🙁
Judi, everyone should have some kind of a tagline for their books for marketing purposes (we always recommend having 3 different length book descriptions). This article on taglines might be useful to you: https://indiesunlimited.com/2013/02/28/tagline-trauma/
Thank you – I’m there! Trauma indeed …
First the synopsis. Then the back-cover blurb. Then the tagline. By the time I’m down to the tagline I feel like I’m just listing nouns in random order 🙁 I will certainly peruse the article for help. I see a reference out to a blurb article too.
But I’m sure I’m not the only one who just wants someone to write their blurbs and tags for them. Actually it is often easier for someone further removed from the work to make a better job of it.
