That dreaded time is upon us. Do you have any New Year’s resolutions? Are they about writing? Education? Weight loss? Donating to Indies Unlimited? Ha ha. We’re such kidders, aren’t we?
Go ahead and let us know what your resolution is by writing it below. Please keep it short so everyone has room. Bob Hammond stopped by and agreed to give us his as an example for you:
I’m going to share more this year by generating a whole new line of Bob Hammond items for indies. You’re welcome.
We wish you every success in 2018.
Mine is to gain ten pounds and exercise less. Those seem to be things I’m good at, so I feel confident I can succeed. 😉
I’m going to increase my writing output this year, over 2017, by at least two books.
I’m going to remain resolution free for another 365 days.
I’m with you Malcolm. Then, no regrets. (;>)
I’m doing a reset this year. I was in the Army and it was always “Accomplish the mission,” so I approached doing things with a battering ram. And my day job turned chaotic and crazy, but I didn’t reset to accommodate it and a lot of things suffered. So I’m looking at how to balance everything so they work together and don’t wreck the writing.
I’m going to devise an annual marketing plan, a high-level strategy kind of a thing, so that my marketing $$ can be spent purposefully instead of just thrown out there whenever I happen to remember that I’m supposed to be doing some marketing thing or other. And I just this afternoon decided I want some kind of Sunday writers’ brunch meetup kind of a thing, so I’m going to organize that too. Ha!
I’m planning to try a few new things this year, including more marketing and a rapid-release strategy.
But I’m totally down for more Bob Hammond!
Reading and sharing what I have read.
One thing at a time. One thing after the other. That should be enough. =)
