Dianne Harman draws her stories and characters from a diverse business and personal background. She owned a national antique and art appraisal business for many years, leaving that industry and opening two yoga centers where she taught yoga and certified yoga instructors. Dianne has traveled extensively throughout the world, most recently dividing her time between Huntington Beach, California and Sacramento, California, where her husband was a Senator. She’s entertained Governors, Congressmen and numerous other political figures in her homes. An avid reader, Dianne brings the richness of her life experiences to her novel, Blue Coyote Motel.

O.L. Ramos was born in Miami, Florida to immigrant parents. Ever since he was a very young child, it was his dream to write books, writing full length works as young as 8 years old. As a ravenous reader, he found himself picking up everything from “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe” to works on the other side of the spectrum, like “The Notebook” (Although he’ll fanatically deny it). Professionally, he’s done a little bit of everything, from being a customer service representative over the telephone, to a sales manager for a retail giant, to even being a deputy sheriff. An unfortunate on duty incident limited his ability to perform his duties as a police officer, but this misfortunate had a silver lining; he was finally able to pursue his lifelong dream of being a writer. He now spends his day researching folklore, legends and myths for his work, notepad in hand in case he gets a good idea. His love for telling stories and writing will surely make for many more books to come.

Garry Rogers has a PhD in Physical Geography. He taught at Columbia University and UCLA, and currently serves as President of the Agua Fria Open Space Alliance, Inc.

He has published three nonfiction books, and hundreds articles in peer-reviewed science journals and conference proceedings. He is currently working on a sequel to his debut novel Corr Syl the Warrior, and a second volume on Arizona wildlife.

Author Morgan Nyberg

Morgan Nyberg was born in Port Arthur, Ontario and grew up in farming country in southern British Columbia. After graduating from the University of British Columbia he worked as a labourer for a decade before finally settling into teaching. For most of the last 30 years he has lived abroad, teaching English as a Foreign Language in Ecuador, Portugal and the Sultanate of Oman. His first book, The Crazy Horse Suite, a verse play, was performed on the stage in New York and was broadcast on CBC Radio. His memoir, Mark, won the CBC Literary Competition. His first venture into book-length fiction, a children’s novel, Galahad Schwartz and the Cockroach Army, won Canada’s prestigious Governor General’s Award for Literature. Since then he has added a further children’s novel, Bad Day in Gladland, and three novels for adults, El Dorado Shuffle, Mr. Millennium, and Since Tomorrow.
