I am pleased to announce that L.A. (Lois) Lewandowski will be joining the staff of Indies Unlimited as a contributing author.
Lois graduated from Rutgers, The State University with a degree in Political Science and French Literature. She relocated to Tampa, Florida in 1994, and says she loves it there. She plays tennis, does Pilates and yoga, and enjoys the ability to be outside year round. Tampa bay offers a great lifestyle to the lucky people who live there. (WTF? I better be getting a kickback from the Florida Department of Tourism for this.)
Lois also has a great blog on culture and cuisine—two things we could do with a bit more of around this joint. Be sure to check out her blog to learn more. Let’s face it, though, what with blogging here and scrubbing the Indies Unlimited plasma conduits, she’s not going to have a lot of extra time for blogging elsewhere. Lois’ regular feature articles will appear here each Monday afternoon. Please join us in welcoming her to the Indies Unlimited team!
Recruiting top talent for any organization can be a challenge—but that’s what animal tranquilizers are for. I am pleased to announce that friend and author Jim Devitt will be joining the staff of Indies Unlimited. You will see Jim’s work here every Saturday afternoon.
Jim is well-known in the community of indie authors as a friend and mentor. His writing is outstanding, as is his standing as a champion of indies. he will be a welcome addition to the crew.
Jim is the author of The Card, a #1 best-seller on the Kindle paid titles list, available from Amazon. He spent eight years working behind the scenes in a Major League clubhouse. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed research papers and presented at conferences throughout the country. Be sure to check out his excellent blog. You can also find him on Facebook and and LinkedIn, and follow him on Twitter.
We are pleased to announce that respected and award-winning author Rosanne Dingli is joining the team here at Indies Unlimited. Rosanne is a well-known mentor in the indie community and a mainstay of many author groups and organizations.
She is the author of Death in Malta, According to Luke, six collections of short stories and a book of collected poems. She also has had numerous articles, stories, reviews, columns and poems published Australia-wide and on the internet since 1986.
Rosanne hails from Western Australia. As anyone who has ever played the board game “Risk” knows, Western Australia is the lynchpin to any successful global domination gambit. Advantage: Indies Unlimited.
You will see her wit and wisdom here every Sunday morning. Welcome to the team Rosanne!
Just after the Evil Mastermind announced my recruitment to his auspicious team, he waited all of five minutes to ‘virtually’ nudge me in the ribs with ‘can you just come on and introduce yourself?’ So here I am, still wondering why such a sparkling, witty and clever writer, would want me on his team, until it hit me. Of course! He wanted someone on the team that was older than him! Junior Hise is extraordinarily persuasive. He really is quite hard to say ‘no’ to. However, I am so very, very glad I was pummelled into submission. I really am delighted to be here and feel immeasurably privileged to be in the company of talent such as his and his cohorts’.
