I’d like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to the wonderful community of folks who take the time from their busy days to visit our little corner of cyberspace.
We all value the time you take to read and comment on our articles, to participate in our like-fests, to show your vision and creativity in our flash fiction competitions, and to share your abundant knowledge, experience, and humor in our guest posts, interviews and Book Briefs. We appreciate those of you who have chosen to support Indies Unlimited with either a donation or through choosing our site as a part of your promotion and marketing strategy.
I would also like to thank our very talented staff. I am lucky to find myself among such a dazzling group of talented, knowledgeable, and caring people. Each of these volunteers have contributed to the success of Indies Unlimited, and I feel privileged to know them.
I would especially like to thank my co-administrator and blog partner, K.S. “Kat” Brooks. It is a rare thing to find a person as talented and accomplished as she, who also has the ability to see the promise in others, and who works so hard to help others be the best they can be. Kat is dedicated, selfless, energetic, enthusiastic, tenacious and always wonderful.

I am particularly thankful for the turkey-flavoured gruel, it made a lovely change. You have created an amazing community Stephen and Kat, I`m proud and delighted to be part of it, thanks for thinking of it, setting it up and supporting it.
Stephen and Kat, your tireless, industrious and talented work is of course the backbone of IU, and your farsighted, intuitive choices, in regards to staff members, ensure its continuing and growing success. I for one am so grateful, and give thanks, for being part of this iconic community. Although, being down here at the bottom end of the globe, Thanksgiving is not one of my celebratory times, I wish you all at Indies Unlimited – executive, staff, authors, writers and readers – the very best for your ‘Thanksgiving’ celebrations.
Stephen, Kat, and volunteers, Indies Unlimited is an amazing site. So many sites exist solely to take money from wannabee writers, while yours offers opportunities for visibility and a wealth of useful knowledge without asking for anything. I think I saw a post seeking donations to keep from installing levels of participation. So how do I donate?
